Empower mobility stakeholders with open source

FabMob mission is to foster the emergence and operational adoption of open source assets to build sustainable, effective and inclusive mobility for all stakeholders in the ecosystem. We will present several commons in production (software, hardware, data) and invite participants to propose new use cases, new commons. Towards a user-centered bike policy

Most bike plans are written from an infrastructure perspective: citizens cycle from A to B, the city provides the bike paths. But the present cyclist demands more: (shared) services, planning & booking, well-managed traffic lights & potholes. Since mobility choices are made on the smartphone the car industry invests a lot in connectivity. To promote cycling our mobility data should be open, our decision making data-driven and our bike policy user-centered. If Uber is 2 clicks away, a bike should be just 1 click away. Today we share our learnings.
